When standing (well...halfstanding/squashed) under the pier I was in heavy shadow. This was a perfect opportunity to burn out the sky and create a smooth transition between sky and sea. Desaturating all colours 80% except the water, made it a slightly unusual looking image. The very strong perspective is exaggerated by added contrast and draws you into the image. [24/3.8 Elmar]
